The county has lost a dear friend in the recent passing of Brent Rutherford. An avid appreciator and collector of Celtic and British Isles song he was immensely generous with his material, opened his home to an array of musicians in performance and invited the community in. With Brent very much in mind I have focused on selecting mostly songs and ballads that I know he would have enjoyed and probably has sent me at some point in time. Thank you Brent for your gentle generosity, love of the music and your very fine scotch whiskey.
